Getting Involved
Through Value-Based Health Care Delivery, we can improve long-term patient outcomes, reduce costs, and create organizational structures, management practices, and payment models that are in line with modern learning practices and today’s medical science.
If you are interested in implementing Value-Based Health Care in your own organization, there are several ways to get started.
- Executive Education Courses
HBS offers two three-day Executive Education courses on Value-Based Health Care Delivery. These are an excellent opportunity for clinical, financial, and executive leaders in the health care industry to learn to apply the principles of Value-Based Health Care in their own organizations.
- Twice a year we offer our Value Measurement in Health Care seminar, which focuses on measuring costs (via TDABC) and outcomes.
- We also hold the Strategy for Health Care Delivery course, which examines the high-level strategic and organizational challenges in implementing value-based care. This invitation-only program is designed for top management; please contact Meredith Alger at malger@hbs.edu if you or a colleague are interested in attending.
- Implementation Materials on the Web
We provide a number of materials online to guide your journey towards value-based care. Please refer to our press coverage, journal articles, videos, teaching cases, and books, as well as our FAQ page. In addition to our publications, we offer more technical implementation materials upon request.
- Collaboration with HBS
The Value-Driven Health Care Delivery Team at HBS takes on a limited number of partnerships with organizations committed to transforming care to focus on value delivery.
