The Institute for Cancer Care Innovation
The Institute for Cancer Care Innovation (ICCI) at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center is a collaborative effort among physicians, nurses, patients, caregivers, and administrators that focuses on innovative approaches to improving the value of cancer care. ICCI builds on work by Harvard Business School Professor Michael Porter and his work to promote value-based health care delivery in the U.S. health care system. By leveraging the experience of both internal and external experts, ICCI is forging a new path toward more patient-centeredness.
