Massachusetts Regional Competitiveness Councils
     
In early 2003, Governor Mitt Romney announced a plan to spur job growth in the regions of Massachusetts by tapping the expertise of area businesses, community and education leaders through Regional Competitiveness Councils.  See the press release (pdf) from the Governor's office for further description.  Professor Michael E.
